Wine Label Design: Almenkerk Lace Collection Almenkerk Wine Estate's Lace collection labels were designed by Mindfield Design to work as a range, and fit in with their philosophy of elegance, simplicity, balance and sophistication. The current range consists of the Red Blend, Rosé and White wines. Almenkerk Wine Estate has grown from the "new kid on the Elgin Valley block", to one of the stars of the valley that consistently win awards and showcase the region for its quality and dedication. The Lace by Almenkerk Red Blend 2010 has already won numerous awards, including a Silver Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and another Silver at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. We are proud to be associated with the Lace collection by Almenkerk, which symbolises all that is essential in winemaking: craft, structure, elegance, balance and sophistication – yet with deliberate minimalism. Integrity of design. These wines, like lace, are a form of “Liquid Architecture”.  More about Almenkerk Wine Estate: The Almenkerk Winery nestles in the Elgin Valley protected by the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. The winery buildings are designed to blend into the panoramic landscape and its bountiful indigenous plantings. The complex comprises the fermentation cellar where the wine is made; the maturation cellar where barrels mature our wines; two storage buildings; the tasting centre and offices where the wines are served.
